The know-how of NAVTEQ is in the field of map database specification and structure, map database construction, map database maintenance and updating, map database quality, map database exchange formats, location referencing, and standardisation. NAVTEQ has extensive know-how and experience in the use and adaptation of digital map databases for special GIS applications, and of their integration in application systems. Role in the project (Degree):
NAVTEQ role in the project includes: delivery of digital map of the Munich test site, consultancy in the implementation of digital maps for Com2React applications such as "Congestion Hazard" and "Obstacles Hazard", and general advise in the development of navigation systems functionalities such as Transver for "Regional Routing at RCC" and Intempora for "Local Routing". NAVTEQ is also providing ADASRP, the company’s proprietary software that will be key to the C2R In-Car system and incorporates the following functionalities:
